I’m Connor, a documentary photographer drawn to the raw, unscripted moments that make life so full. I am currently based in Spokane, Washington, but travel often to photograph weddings, wilderness adventure projects, and other stories.

I originally started taking photos ten years ago out of a fascination with the strong emotions and nostalgia I felt looking at the work of street photographers and photojournalists. In an attempt to do the same, I became obsessive about capturing the raw emotion and beauty evoked by landscapes, events, and the human experince.


I’ve worked professionally as a photographer for the past nine years, and about five years ago I realized that the way I approach photography (quietly, more as a fly on the wall opposed to a director) actually works really well for weddings. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of documenting couples and communities all over, always prioritizing images that feel a little more real and a little less staged. 


When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me exploring the mountains near Spokane, skiing with friends, enjoying a nice dinner out with my wife, Quinn, or planning my next trip. In all of it, I'm still chasing those moments that feel genuine and unfiltered.

Artists that Inspire Me

I draw inspiration from artists who see the world with honesty and curiosity, and don't pigeon holing themselves into one type of subject matter. They are street photographers who capture the unexpected, photojournalists who reveal the raw human experience, and landscape photographers who find beauty in the overlooked. Their work reminds me to stay observant, patient, and present, and to always look for the story beyond the obvious. I strive to bring that same perspective to every photo I take.
