Portraits, Brands, and other stories

Whether it’s portraits, brand work, or photojournalism, I care about making images that feel honest—something a little imperfect, fully human, and true to the story. I work with people and brands who want more than just content; they want photographs with a point of view. From quiet moments to longform coverage, I aim to create work that resonates and actually sticks.
Remember the way a moment felt—regardless of if you were actually there.
This image is from my wife Quinn & I's engagement photos, which I took. Quinn really wanted my style of photos, so we went down by the river near our home, I set up a camera where I would typically stand, and every few moments it took a photos as we walked around and laughed together.
Some may say its too bright, other may not love the motion blur, but when I see it I am reminded of all the excitement, hustle, and joy of this season together as an engaged couple.
Maybe the photo is a little bright, but so was that time in our lives.
My Work Style
I take a fly-on-the-wall approach to every photo project—whether it’s a wedding, an objective in the mountains, or a personal portrait. I rarely step in, and when I do, it’s just to make a small adjustment for the light. My goal is to let things unfold naturally so the photos feel true to the moment, not staged or overly directed. That way, the images reflect what actually happened, how it felt, and who you really are.
In the moments between photos, and when appropriate, I do my best to get to know everyone else that is present. This helps me get a good feel for how we all got here, how everyone is interpreting whats happening, and gives me even greater empathy for the moments I see through my cameras viewfinder.
Other Offerings:
Couples & Engagement Photos
Engagement photos start at $850, and can be as long or short of a session as you want. I find One of two hours tends to be the sweet spot for most couples, depending on location.
Portrait Sessions
Any portrait session, such as senior photos, company head shots, or joint portrait sessions (siblings, coworkers, friends) start at $350, and typically last one hour. Price increases with time, and number of individuals, and number of desired locations.
Family Photos
Family photo sessions start at $450, and can be done at your home, a local park, or whatever spot you have in mind. I have found the more comfortable your family is with the location, the more natural the photos will be.
Brand Projects & Other stories
Brand Projects
I work with brands to create images that feel natural, honest, and rooted in real experience. Whether it’s documenting a product in use outdoors, capturing a team at work, or telling the story of what you do and why—it’s never just about the product. I aim to create visuals that actually reflect your values and connect with the people you're trying to reach. No stiff setups or over-stylized ads—just solid, intentional photography that fits your brand and feels like something people want to look at.

Tell your story
Not every project fits neatly into a package—and honestly, those are some of my favorites. I especially love work that allows for long-form coverage—telling a story over time, in layers, as it unfolds. Whether it’s a mission in the mountains, an international trip, a community story, or something that doesn’t even have a name yet, I’m always open to collaborating on meaningful work. If you’ve got an idea and think I might be the right person to help document it, let’s talk. I’m all ears.
